STAMPEDE!!!
Contributed by Emma Callin
I've often heard Stampede season described as "Calgary's Mardi Gras", though with barbecue instead of Cajun food and a lot more cowboy hats. I would have to agree: the whole city is filled with a party atmosphere and everyone's dress code becomes more relaxed! But for those who still have to work during the Calgary Stampede there is the fine balance of maintaining a professional appearance while getting into the western spirit without looking too costume-y.
We've come up with several different outfits for all the Stampede has to offer that are work-appropriate, comfortable and Canadian-made. How's that for Stampede spirit? ^_^
