Marvellous Mom Monday: Elaine

Contributed by Emma Callin

Welcome to the 2nd edition of Marvellous Moms Monday! Since that’s such a mouthful to say I’m hoping that “M3” catches on, but that remains to be seen…

Elaine is a friend from what I jokingly refer to as “The Engineers’ Wives Club” a group of women I met because they married my husband’s friends – nearly all of them electrical engineers! You can imagine that the conversation when everyone gets together can get highly…technical. While my eyes tend to go cross-eyed trying to make sense of what they’re talking about, Elaine has a background in computer programming so she understands and can contribute. She’s got great style too! Check out her outfits below.

The best thing about being a mom is:
“It's just a totally different, fun, self-realizing (never knew how bad a temper I have till now) experience.  And I always thought life is about experiencing.”

Running after the kids
“Absolutely loved the colors and texture. It didn't look too casual, but felt more comfortable than my t-shirt and jeans.”
Featuring the Ambre sweater by Erdaine, the Purple Sky leggings by Heidi the Artist, earrings by Toodlebunny.

Work
“Loved this tunic! Loved the shape, loved how it could turn into a dress, and loved the soft material. These pants caught my eyes immediately. They were stretchy and so easy to move around in.”
Featuring the Strength dress by Nicole Bridger, classic rise skinny jeans by Yoga Jeans, earrings by Toodlebunny, the Desmond heels with thanks to John Fluevog Calgary.

Date night
“Who wouldn't like this design? It's classy and different at the same time.”
Featuring the Meteor dress by Jennifer Glasgow, earrings and bracelet by Toodlebunny, the Nefertiti heels with thanks to John Fluevog Calgary.
