Canadian-made in Poland!

It's a pretty well-known fact that summer is peak time for weddings, with plenty of women shopping for event outfits at this time of year.  With destination weddings becoming more common these outfits now have to fit another criteria other than dress code - they have to travel well too.

My sister, Ying, got to see exactly how well our clothes travel when she recently traveled to Poland for her brother-in-law's wedding.  Among her outfits were Miik's Louise dress for the rehearsal dinner and Valerie Dumaine's Mathilde dress for the wedding; see what she had to say below!

At Toszek Castle in Poland.  Wearing the Louise dress and a necklace by Minori Takagi.

Both dresses are pretty and comfortable, with the blue dress from Miik being especially comfy.  I love how the skirt is swirly when you spin!

All smiles in the sunshine!

I didn't have to steam or iron either dress when we arrived in Poland.  It was both rainy and hot the day of the wedding - 37 degrees Celsius with thunderstorms going through - which made very steamy weather.

Running after Micah in the rain.

The Valerie Dumaine dress was breezy and everyone at the wedding LOVED it.  I got a lot of compliments on the Miik dress too.  It's also nice that I know that they weren't made in a sweat shop!
