Mix n' match

When building a capsule wardrobe it's important to consider two things: how many times you'll wear a piece and how many ways you can style it.  While I do enjoy the simplicity of one-pieces like dresses and jumpsuits - no need to think about putting an outfit together - having a few key separates that work well together will increase the versatility of your wardrobe by giving you more styling options.

There are so many clothing stores with hundreds of items of clothing to choose from, but identifying your personal style helps in the process of creating a capsule wardrobe.  If you wear skirts more than trousers, for instance, or the kind of shoes you typically wear; purchasing clothing that doesn't go with any of your existing footwear means that you'll be spending more money again soon.

In Nicky's case, she tends to wear skirts or leggings and combat boots - she chose two tops and two skirts that mix and match with each other and also with pieces she already owns.  The tops both have enough length to be worn with leggings as well as skirts, the skirts can also be layered over leggings when the weather is cold.

The best part?  All four pieces together cost under $250 at our sale - a sustainable wardrobe doesn't have to cost a lot!

P.S. Don't miss our big clearance sale: all clothing at least 50% off, plus get a fourth item free when you purchase three items!
