Originally from France, Jean Michel is a Calgary designer inspired by the world around us. His beautiful photographic prints are artful renditions of nature and architecture and have been exhibited worldwide, most recently as wearable art in a successful collaboration with Indonesian clothing designer Widhi Budimulia.
Having grown up in southeast Asia and with family ties to the area, I'm thrilled to promote collaborations that mix local artists from both my Canadian home and my Asian heritage with ethical manufacturing! Partially produced in Canada and partially in Indonesia, By Jean Michel designs are available online on scarves, leggings, kimono, fans, and pocket squares. There will also be tops, skirts, dresses and a limited stock of runway samples available at the pop up for purchase, so we encourage you to come early for best selection!
